JonPaul

A semi-finalist in 2016 on NBC's The Voice, JonPaul is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist artist. He has a passion to perform, aspires to perform worldwide and  bring originality and excitement to the music industry with diverse fans showcasing his sound ranging from pop, rock, folk, and country. At only 19, JonPaul has already achieved a decade of experience, his musical talents range singing and songwriting to playing and performing.

Raised by his widowed, devoted grandmother, Jonpaul understood early in life family value and community service. She saw his burning desire to sing, so at age 7, he began formal classes in voice and guitar, and performing in school productions, local café’s, church programs, fundraiser, community festivals, and galas. This young artist quickly learned the music business from the ground up and enjoys being on stage, while showcasing his artistry.

Currently, JonPaul is a sophomore at Nashville State, majoring in Music and collaborating with fellow Nashville musicians, including the legendary Victor Wooten. He is also the model selected for the Tennessee Board of Regents campaign to promote state colleges - featured on billiards, movie theater spot adds, commercial and print. Meanwhile, he makes time to give back to the community by visiting hospitals and students dressed as Superman and Elvis.

His dark handsome looks, reminiscent of an early Elvis, made him a perfect pick for the role of Birdie in the production of “Bye-Bye Birdie” at Mizner Park Theater and Sonny in “Grease.” Although there is a definite sparkle in the eye that belies the Presley-swagger, his music heroes include Ed Sheeran and John Mayer. This Elvis-look-a-like is also the 2017  Nashville Rising Star Audience Winner who can own the stage singing, acting and even including a spirited celebrity impression or two.

JonPaul's recent Los Angeles audition landed him in the newest boy band production, 5West, where he is currently recording new music with the group. 5West was featured in Keelie Walker's "Pieces", which  charted in the Top 5 for the UK pop charts. This past year, JonPaul cowrote and recored five tracks with Multi-Platinum and Grammy Nominated producer Bryan Todd, which will be released soon! When not performing, he loves playing Xbox and spending time with his nieces and nephew, where he resides in Nashville.
